  1. Brooklyn Monk
    Neodesha, KS

I am an eleven year old girl named Brooklyn Monk, Keith was a close friend of mine ever since he was in Kindergarten, and I would sit by him and eat lunch with him for he stayed after the other children in his grade had gone outside. I received the news on a early morning at school in Mrs. Hallett's fifth grade class, and it hit us all hard. I usually am strong about these things for I experience plenty of death and illness, but I cried through most of the day. He was a cheerful and amazing boy, despite the conditions he had. He loved music, in fact the last time I saw him was while we were rehearsing for a school program. So in his honor I am going to sing a song from that program in Neodesha's 2017 Talent Show if I make it in, and sing 'For Good.' I hope everyone gets through this.
