I knew her when she and her Parents when they lived on their farm, my parents and her's were very close friends for many years They have been gone for many years now, but I keep in touch with Janet by Christmas Letters love hearing from her and her telling us about her year. I got to go down and see her for her 70th Birthday. I got pictures of that. But when I got no answer back from her with a Christmas Card I didn't know how to find out about her. So I had my Husband go on Line to find out about her, She was such a wonderful Lady as she was Christian Lady, I will Miss her Letters I will always remember her. Praying for her Family. Remembering Janet: Janet freely shared her musical talent. I remember her singing at every Mother-Daughter Y-teen tea "Turn around Little Girl" and bringing all us Moms to tears. Janet's community service included NHS organizations, 4-County Mental Health Board and Methodist Church. We were surprised (delighted) when she answered a Porter Drug newspaper ad for a part time bookkeeper. Fortunately she decided we would be her retirement hobby! A dedicated teacher, she was the 1996 Educator of the Year. Many of her students remarked how well she prepared them for college and also prepared others to go directly in the work force. She also was a good Mom to Jennifer and a proud grandmother. I also remember exchanging puppy stories--her boxer pup Holly made my labs look tame! Just a good person and friend.

Heartbroken over the loss of this special woman and former teacher and next door neighboor. So many wonderful memories from chasing her boxer Josie down for her when she got loose, to helping her with her garden and flowers, to her constant laughter at our son Collin and his 3 year old shenanigans. We all loved her.
