Alice Frost Alice May Frost, 57, of Independence, Kansas, died Friday, November 12, 2004, at Harry Hynes Hospice Care Center in Wichita, Kansas. Cremation has taken place and a memorial graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2004, in the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of the Penwell Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. Rev. Dave Cheshier will officiate. The daughter of George M. and Nadine E. Harwood Stillwell, she was born August 28, 1947, in Neodesha. She grew up and attended school in Neodesha. She married Charles Nolen in 1965 and they were later
orced. She married Jack Frost in 1971 and he preceded her in death. She had lived in Independence since 1988, moving from Neodesha. She had been employed as a nurses aide for both the Golden Keys Nursing Home in Neodesha and the Manor Nursing Home in Independence. Survivors include a daughter, Kelli Frost of Independence, KS; five half brothers, Charlie Stroud of Lincoln, Arkansas, Wayne Simpson of Springdale, Arkansas, Danny Simpson of Lowell, Arkansas, Mike Simpson of Hindsville, Arkansas, and Vernon Stroud of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and one half-sister, Karen Bazey of Bella Vista, Arkansas. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
