ALLAN DUANE PIERSON Allan Duane Pierson, 71, of Neodesha, Kansas passed away June 30, 2006 at the Wilson County Hospital, Neodesha, Kansas. Allan was born January 09, 1935 in Salina, Kansas to John L. and Ada Pauline Bowling Pierson. He was raised and educated in Wichita, Kansas. He entered the U.S. Army in 1954 and was honorably discharged in 1957. He married Beatrice Pat Heavey on October 24, 1959 in Wichita, Kansas and they later
orced. He worked in Wichita and Kansas City in Collections. He came to Neodesa in 1992, coming from Independence, Kansas. He was a ham radio and CB radio operator. He worked on radios as a hobby. He is survived by one nephew, John Grieve of Neodesha, Kansas and seven great nieces and nephews. Cremation will take place under the direction of the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha, Kansas. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence, Kansas.
