Ann Krudwig Price of Neodesha, KS, died Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Vintage Park in Neodesha, KS. She was 94. Funeral Services, under the direction of Penwell Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel, will Tuesday, August 17th at 10 a.m. at the First Christian Church of Neodesha with the Reverend Jack Kyle and Reverend Dave Cheshier officiating. Interment will be at the Neodesha Cemetery. Friends may call to register on Monday, August 16, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 8:00 p.m at the Loran Fawcett Chapel, with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family has suggested memorials to the First Christian Church of Neodesha and can be left at the funeral home. Ann was born on July 21, 1916 to John Hetz and Anna Holdelmyer Hetz in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was raised in Chicago, Illinois. She met and married Ed Krudwig in Chicago on September 03, 1938. They moved to Neodesha in 1940 when Ed went to work for the Standard Oil Refinery. While Ed served in the Army during World War II, she went back to Chicago to stay with her parents and worked at a Defense Plant, Mid Western Coil and Electric. When Ed came back home in 1944, they made their home in Neodesha at 117 Wisconsin until his death in 1975, they had no children. She then worked at Wilson County Hospital until her employment with Dr. Frank Moorhead and after his death she was employed by the City of Neodesha in the office. After leaving her position with the city she worked for Dr. Allen Moorhead. In 1981 she married Emery Price and he preceded her in death in 1988. Ann was a member of the First Christian Church, American Legion Auxiliary, V.F.W. Auxiliary and Wilson County Hospital Auxiliary. Survivors include nine nieces, two nephews and five stepnephew and two stepnieces. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, and her two husbands.
