Betty June Raida, age 85, of Neodesha, Kansas passed away, Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Neodesha Care & Rehabilitation Center.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Loran Fawcett Chapel with Chaplain Jeff Owens of Kindred Hospice officiating. Burial will follow in the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Chapel.

Visitation hours will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Loran Fawcett Chapel. Friends may leave online condolences at www.loranfawcettchapel.com.

The family has suggested memorials to Kindred Hospice and contribution may be left at the Loran Fawcett Chapel.

Betty was born June 15, 1932 in Neodesha, Kansas to Clarence and Alta May (Benson) Elliott. She grew up in Neodesha, Kansas and attended schools there.

Betty worked as a waitress before working at Airosol and then ACC for 26 years.. She was a member of the Neodesha Area Eagles Auxiliary #3448 for 35 years.

Survivors include one son Ken (Bev) Childress of Cedar Rapids, IA; one daughter Bonnie (Keith) Stockman of Rosemont, MN; sister Helen Clanton of Neodesha, Ks; five grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers and sisters.
