Billy Ray Padley Jr. Billy Ray Corky Padley Jr. of Independence, KS, formerly of Neodesha, died Thursday, October 11, 2007, as the result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Twin Falls, ID. He was 42. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha. The Reverend Les Griffith will officiate. Inurnment will be in Neodesha Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The son of Bill and Shirley Patchin Padley, he was born March 2, 1965, at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. He attended grade school and junior high school in Neodesha before moving with his parents to Pensacola, FL. He graduated from Pensacola High School and later attended Pensacola Junior College and the University of West Florida where maintained a 4.0 grade point average. He was presently employed by the Dilling Machine Company of Indianapolis, IN, as a superintendent of jobs. He also taught classes on reading blueprints and in pipefitting. He was united in marriage to Lorrie Edmondson. They were later
orced. Survivors include his two daughters, Shaina and Kansas Padley of Pensacola, FL; his parents, Bill and Shirley Padley Sr. of Independence, KS; a sister, Autumn Fowler and her husband Jeff of Independence, KS; his maternal grandmother, Mary Padley; two grandchildren, Justice and Jade of Pensacola; and an uncle, Frank Greer of Neodesha. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God in Neodesha and may be left at the funeral home.
