BOBBY EARL WILLARD Bobby Earl Willard, age 70, of Neodesha, Kansas died Saturday, April 13, 2002 at the Wichita VA Hospital. Bobby was born May 11, 1931 in Neodesha, Kansas to Howard V. and Cecile Ramey Willard. Bobby grew up in Neodesha and attended the Neodesha School System. In 1948 Bobby entered the United States Army and served in Germany and Korea until his honorable discharge. In 1952 Bobby married Velma Prather and they would later
orce. Bobby worked in the Construction Business for Wilson - Blevins Construction and also worked for the Eagles. On August 11, 1984 Bobby married Glenda Obermier in Neodesha, Kansas where they made their home. Bobby was a member of the VFW Post 5962 and was an officer and 30 Year member of the Eagles. Survivors include his wife Glenda of the home, five sons Danny Willard of Independence, Kansas, David Willard and John Willard both of Neodesha, Kansas, Mark Willard of Girard, Kansas and Tim Willard of Parsons, Kansas; one step son Montie Obermier of Neodesha, Kansas; three daughters Debbie Kukovich of Wichita, Kansas, Sandy Skinner of Denver, Colorado and Sheryl Johnson of Parsons, Kansas; his mother Cecile Ramey of Coffeyville, Kansas; two sisters Joyce Blankenship of Border, Texas and Joan Katzer of Paris, Tennesse; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Virgil, Jimmy and J.R. and his father. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at the Bethel Cemetery with Dave Cheshier officating under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2002 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. The family has suggested memorials to the Wichita VA Hospital or the Donoramp;s Choice and contributions may be left at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home.
