Bonnie Marie Walton, 88 of Neodesha, Kansas passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Neodesha, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Loran Fawcett Chapel, Dave Cheshier will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Loran Fawcett Chapel. The family has suggested memorials be made to Asera Care Hospice or to the Masonic Home in Wichita, Kansas. Memorials may be left with the funeral home.

Bonnie was born on March 17, 1925 in Cross Timber, Missouri to Samuel Levi and Nora Myrtle Dalton Bybee. She graduated from high school in Warsaw, Missouri in 1940. She attended Mercy Hospital Nurses Aid training at ICC and then worked as a Nurses Aide starting in 1969 and worked for Wilson County Hospital for 20 years.

She was united in marriage to Kenneth Walton on October 26, 1941 in St Charles, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2003. The family lived in numerous places with Kenneths construction work and moved to Neodesha in 1957 making a permanent home. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Neodesha, member of Eastern Star and White Shrine.

Bonnie is survived by daughters, Vivan and husband Gary Cotterll of Independence, Kansas, Kathy and husband John Botts of Neodesha, Kansas grandchildren, Valarie and Kendal Cottrell of Loma Linda, Missouri, Amber Botts of Neodesha, Kansas, Jeff Botts of Overland Park, Kansas great grandchildren, Jesse Kantola, Alec Ikerd and Maxson Ikerd.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
