GERALD CAYLE GRAY Gerald Cayle Gray, 21, of Lumberton, Texas passed away Friday, August 17, 2007 at a family members home in Fredonia, Kansas. Cayle was born May 6, 1986, in Parsons, Kansas to Mark Gray and Linda Arnold Gray. He was raised in Neodesha and at the age of 6, his mother moved to Lumberton, Texas. He attended schools in Lumberton, graduating from Lumberton High School in 2004. Cayle was attending Lamar University at Beaumont, Texas. His passion was music and he was working towards a major in music. Cayle played the saxophone, bass, and the guitar and also, was working on his original compositions. He was attending Christian Fellowship Church in Beaumont, Texas and most recently was active in the music ministry at Have Bible Will Travel Fellowship in St. Louis, Missouri. Cayle is survived by his parents, Linda Olson and her husband, David of Lumberton, Texas and Mark Gray and his wife, Kim of West Alton, Missouri; two sisters, Kindra Rice and her husband, Chris of Littleton, Colorado and Jenna Sue Gray of West Alton, Missouri; one brother, Jeff Olson of Kilgore, Texas; maternal grandparents, Don and Vera Arnold of Neodesha, Kansas; paternal grandfather, Gerald L. Gray of Union, Missouri; three nephews, Stephen, Seth, and Noah Rice and one niece, Elissabeth VeraLee Rice. Visitation hours for Cayle will be Monday, August 20, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel, Neodesha, Kansas. Funeral services for Gerald Cayle Gray will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at the First Christian Church, 702 Wisconsin, Neodesha, Kansas with Reverend Carl Soliday of the Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will follow at the Neodesha City Cemetery. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Ride For Rocky, Children39;s Fund, in care of: Have Bible Will Travel Fellowship 2280 McKelvey Road Maryland Heights, Missouri 63043 Memorials may be left with the funeral home.
