Caytlon Wheeler Caytlon Ennette Wheeler, 13-month old daughter of Clayton and Nickie Long Wheeler of Neodesha, Kansas, died Friday, February 3, 2006, at Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2006, at the First Christian Church in Neodesha under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. The Reverends Dan DeWitt, Dale Coble and Jim Bell will officiate. Interment will be in Shelly Cemetery formerly known as Bethel Cemetery in rural Neodesha. Friends may call from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. Tuesday. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Caytlon was born December 16, 2004, in Independence, Kansas. Last summer, she was diagnosed with a very rare childhood disease, Congenital Myopathy with Fiber Type Disproprotion. Survivors included her parents and sister, Cadence Eryn Wheeler, of the home; Maternal grandparents Tom and Marilyn Long of Independence, KS, and Glen and Twila Bales of rural Havana, KS; Paternal grandparents, Floyd and Hilda Wheeler of rural Neodesha, KS; Maternal great-grandparents, Elvern and Pauline Bales of Independence,KS; Bertha Light of Independence, KS; and Edward Long of rural Chautauqua, KS; Paternal great-grandparents Roy and Lillie Lee Wheeler of Manhattan, KS; and Willie Mae Borders of rural Bells, Tennessee.
