Clara Noel

Ms. Clara L. Noel, 80, of Neodesha died Friday morning at Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the Christ Church with Reverend Dave Cheshier, pastor officiating. Interment will be at the Neodesha Cemetery. Friends may call to register at PenwellGabel Loran Fawcett Chapel Neodesha from noon to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2010, with family receiving friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family has suggested memorial remembrances to A.W.O.L. Independence. Clara Lenora Noel was born July 05, 1930 at Neodesha, Kansas, the daughter of Harvey Wilbur Jim Noel and Verna J. Johnson Noel. She attended school in Neodesha, graduating in 1948 and then attending Bevens School of Business in 1949. She worked for Sisters of Saint Joseph of Pittsburg and Sisters of Mercy of Independence. She was also employed as the credit manager of Airsol Manufacturing in Neodesha before becoming a sales representative for Royal Neighbors of America Insurance, a position she held for 26 years. She was a member of Christ Church of Neodesha and the Royal Neighbors of America. She is survived by many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
