DANIEL KING COHEE Daniel King Cohee, 63, of Altoona, Kansas passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Wilson County Hospital, Neodesha, Kansas. Daniel was born July 29, 1943 in Neodesha, Kansas to Charles and Cleo Kebert Cohee. He was raised and educated in Neodesha, Kansas graduating from Neodesha High School in 1961. He began working at Neodesha Truck Stop and later worked for the City of Neodesha approximately twelve years. He then went to work for IBEW Electrician Union as an electrician for approximately thirty years, retiring in 1999. He was married to Delores J. Bryan in 1961 and later
orced in 1982. He then married Debbie White in 1985 and they
orced in 1997. He married Jo Gray on September 29, 2006 in Miami, Oklahoma. He served in the Kansas National Guard from 1962 to 1967. He served on the Altoona City Commission as Building Inspector. He was also a member of the IBEW Electricians Union and tje local union 226 Brotherhood of Electricians. Daniel is survived by his wife, Jo of Altoona, Kansas; three children, Warden L. Cohee of Denton, Texas, Teresa Prather of Independence, Kansas and Eddie L. Cohee of Fredonia, Kansas; three step daughters, Melissa Row of Fredonia, Kansas, Jody Killough of Fredonia, Kansas and Dana Killough of Altoona, Kansas; seven brothers, Elmer, Charles, Franklin, Sam and Tony Cohee all of Neodesha, Kansas, Steve Cohee of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Ronald Cohee of Conway, Arkansas; four grandchildren and four step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation will take place. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Neodesha Church of the Nazarene with the Reverend Tom Bell of Fredonia, Kansas, officiating. Services are under the direction of the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha. Memorials are suggested to the donors choice and will be received at the funeral home.
