David L. Spearman David Lee Spearman of Neodesha, KS, died Monday, October 3, 2011, at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK. He was 58. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at Shelley Cemetery in rural Neodesha under the direction of PenwellGabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. Friends may call Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5 p.m. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the funeral home. The son of Fred and Dorene Starr Spearman, he was born March 28, 1953, in Wichita, KS. On May 1, 1976, he was united in marriage to Karen Kay Bonham in Wichita. She survives at the home. Mr. Spearman was a laborer and had worked in the small parts department at Cobalt Boats. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Christina Cook and her husband Mike of Neodesha, Alvin Keith and his wife Kary of Haysville, KS, Amanda King and her husband Mike of Humboldt, KS, and Kaylene Long and her husband Brian of Neodesha two brothers, Merle Spearman and his wife Janie of Corinth, MS, and Charley Spearman and his wife Kathy of Park City, KS two sisters, Mary Tice of Valley Center, KS, and Margie Capps and her husband Mike of Lindale, TX 16 grandchildren, Michael, Kyle, Korey, Tyler, Austin, and Cameron Cook Kalib, Devin, Marissa, Hunter, and Peyton Keith Kireston, Travis, and Taner King Zachary and Jacob Long five greatgrandchildren with one on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents one sister, Margaret and four brothers, Bill, Bruce, Freddyjoe and Glenn. Memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice and may be left at the funeral home.
