Dawn Race

Dawn J. Race Dawn Jean Race of Neodesha, Kansas, died Friday, December 1, 2006, at her residence. She was 47. At the familys request, cremation has taken place under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. A private family service will take place at a later date. The daughter of Raymond and Sonia Ray Corey Barrows, she was born July 23, 1959, in New London, Connecticut. She was raised in New London and later moved to Kansas where she was a homemaker. She attended the Verdigris Valley Christian Fellowship in Altoona, KS. Survivors include two sons, Daryl White of Neodesha and Forrest Eugene Grillo of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Mark and Shaun Barrows of Norwich, CT; five sisters, Mary Thompson and Marsha Lathrom, both of Parsons, KS, Delvina Barrows of Glennborough, Pennsylvania, Holly Anderson and Viola Barrows, both of Sunbury, PA; and four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
