Diane Sandbothe

Diane Knoll Sandbothe, age 57, of Neodesha, KS, died at her home in Neodesha on Friday, February 10, 2012. Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at PenwellGabel Loran Fawcett chapel in Neodesha from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at the PenwellGabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. Graveside services will immediately follow the service at Farmington Cemetery. Diane was born August 28, 1954 in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Edwin Knoll and Mary Meier Knoll. Diane attended school, K12, in Holcomb, KS and graduated from Holcomb High School in 1972. On October 3, 1981, Diane was united in marriage to Larry Charles Sandbothe at Bethel Church of God in rural Neodesha. Diane worked at the Treasurers Office of Finney, Montgomery and Wilson counties most of her adult life. She also worked at Wilson County Hospital and First National Bank in Neodesha. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Adrienne Sandbothe Eastwood and her husband Nicholas Eastwood of Neodesha, one son, Tyler Sandbothe and one stepdaughter, Denna Sandbothe Spears of Thayer, KS 5 sisters, Gloria Jean Flint of Garden City, KS, Carol Palkowitsch and her husband Charles Palkowitsch of Garden City, KS, Sharon Glaze of Wellington, CO, Doris Foster and her husband Jonah Foster of Coweta, OK, and Denise Scribner and her husband Frank Scribner of Sapulpa, OK one brother Ron Knoll and his wife Sheila Knoll of Chanute, KS 6 stepgrandchildren, TifnySpears Ecton and her husband Zeb Ecton, Kristen Spears, Kelsey Spears, Jaleesa Scott, Taylor Scott, Desiree Scott and 3 greatstepgrandchildren, 9 nephews and 4 nieces. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mary Louise Bascue and her husband Archie Bascue, 2 brotherinlaws, Daryl Flint and Doug Glaze and one nephew. Memorials can be made to Harry Hynes Hospice in care of the funeral home. PenwellGabel Loran Fawcett Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
