Dolores Wilson, 80, of Neodesha died Wednesday morning at Golden Living Center in Neodesha, Kansas. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 08, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Penwell Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, with Revered Ford Hall, pastor of the First Nazarene Church in Coffeyville, KS, officiating. Friends may stop by to sign the register book from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 07, 2011 with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Neodesha Cemetery. Dolores Marie Ross was born on February 13, 1930 to Earl and Glennie McLane Ross in Neodesha, Kansas. She graduated from Neodesha High School in 1948 and then worked as retail clerk and cashier at Jiffy Mart for over 30 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Neodesha. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Dolores married Dean Wilson on June 08, 1948 at the First Baptist Church in Neodesha, and he survives at the home. Survivors include in addition to her husband Dean two daughters Kim Wilson and Betty Wilson of Neodesha one son Mike Wilson of Coffeyville a sister Patty Armstrong of Neodesha six grandchildren Michelle Kennedy, Lesley Buster, Eric Wilson, Amy Aarons, Amber Buster and Sherry Canales five greatgrandchildren Paige Kennedy, Kailen Burnett, Leah Womeldorf, Angela Canales and Kelli Pouncil. She is preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Jason Wilson. The family has suggested memorials to the Alzheimers Association and can be left at the funeral home.
