Donald W. Bill Arnold, 83, of Neodesha, Kansas passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at his home.

At his request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Christ Church in Neodesha. A special message can be left for the family at www.loranfawcettchapel.com

Bill was born on June 27, 1930 in Neodesha to William Albert and Laura Alice Thomas Arnold. He grew up in Neodesha where he attended school and received his GED.

On December 29, 1950 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Vera Lee McNutt in Neodesha. She preceded him in death. Bill served in the National Guard. In 1957 he began his own business as an electrician and contracted with MEC Co., Neodesha Plastics and Cobalt Boats until a short time ago when his health failed in October of 2013.

Bill enjoyed hunting and being a HAMM Radio Operator. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and a life member of The National Rifle Association.
Surviving to honor his memory is his sons, Donald Lee, David and Mark Arnold all of Neodesha, Kansas daughters, Linda Olson of Lamar of Colorado, Diana Byron of Onalaska, Texas brother, Bob Arnold of Neodesha, Kansas sister, Mary K. Lower of Harker Heights, Texas fourteen grandchildren, Hillary Arnold, Donald J. Arnold, Matt Arnold all of Neodesha, Kansas, Nick Elkins of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Nisha Green of Onalaska, Texas, Brad Elkins of Harveyville, Kansas, Kindra Rice of Littleton, Colorado, Toni Adams of Neodesha, Kansas, Ashley Weeast, Jackie Arnold both of Liberal, Kansas, Bethany Goodman of Beaverton, Oregon, Lisa Lour Arnold of Pittsburg, Kansas, Holly Lour Arnold and Howard Lour Arnold both of Neodesha, Kansas and thirteen greatgrandchildren. In addition to his wife, Vera Lee and parents, William and Laura he was also preceded in death by four sisters, one brother and by a grandson.
