Donna Gibson

Donna Leah Gibson, age 96 of Neodesha, Kansas died Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Golden Living in Neodesha, Kansas.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Chapel. The family has suggested memorials to Neodesha High School College Tuition Fund and contributions may be left at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Donna Leah Gibson was born April 22, 1920 in Neodesha, Kansas to William W. and Alice Irene (Heathfield) Arnold. She grew up in Neodesha, Kansas and attended the Neodesha School System.

On November 25, 1936 Donna married Wayne P. Gibson in Erie, Kansas the couple made their home in Neodesha, Kansas before living in rural Independence, Kansas and then returning to Neodesha, Kansas in 1983. Wayne preceded her in death. Donna was a homemaker.

Survivors include five grandchildren Tim Adee of Neodesha, Kansas; Holly Volz of Tulsa, Will Gibson of Indiana, Amy Nitza of New York and Heidi Cripe of South Carolina; 12 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five children Dean, Paula, Sam and infant twins; her parents and two brothers and three sisters.
