Kay Klingenberg Donna Kay Kiddoo Klingenberg of Owasso, OK passed away peacefully at St. Johns Intensive Care Unit in Tulsa, OK, on Sunday, May 30, 2010. She was 74 years old. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Grace Baptist Church, in Neodesha, KS, under the direction of PenwellGabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. Pastor Jim Logan will officiate. Interment will be in Neodesha Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, from 67 PM at the funeral home and on Thursday, June 3, 2010, from 1011 AM at Grace Baptist Church. The daughter of A.K. and Jewell Lett Kiddoo, Donna Kay was born in Chetopa, KS on August 24, 1935. Most of her childhood and early adolescence were spent in Coffeyville, KS. While attending high school in Neodesha, she met her future husband, Ron Klingenberg, during one of his leaves from the National Guard. They were married June 7, 1953, in Fort Scott, KS. He preceded her in death in 2002. Donna Kay was a homemaker, committed to her husband and their four girls: Rhonda, Kim, Tammy and Kelli. After the girls were raised Donna Kay demonstrated the depth of her concern for others through her career and volunteer choices in Neodesha. She served as the Activity Director and hair dresser at the Golden Keys Nursing Home, sang in the choir and played the piano and organ for her church. She also participated in the Mercatos singing group. She was a good and faithful servant of her Lord and Savior, attending the Bethel Baptist Church in Owasso, OK, when she moved to that area. Donna Kay is survived by her daughters and sonsinlaw: Don and Rhonda Agosto of Oologah, OK JL and Kim McKee of Talala, OK Tom and Tammy Parish of Nixa, MO and Kelli Klingenberg of Neodesha, KS one brother and sisterinlaw, Albert Matthew and Suzie Kiddoo of Wichita, KS one sister, Patricia A. Kiddoo or Clearwater, FL eight grandchildren, Haley Schofield, Daniel Agosto, Melisa Ryker, Miranda Stelzer, Kayla Arnold, Alex McKee, Lucas Arnold, and Amelia Parish and nine, much loved, great grandchildren. In addition to her beloved husband, she is preceded in death by her parents and one grandson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Baptist Church and may be left at the funeral home.
