Dorothy Evelyn Lamendola, 93, of Neodesha, Kansas passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 26th surrounded by her loved ones.
Dorothy was born on March 12, 1929 to William Arther and Katie (Riggs) Pendleton in Altoona, Kansas. Dot spent her youth making countless memories amongst 10 brothers and sisters. She then graduated from Neodesha High in 1946, and soon after married Lawrence Lamendola on August 25th, 1947 in Independence, Kansas.
Dot and Lawrence went on to have 3 boys, Steve, Bruce, and Jon. The way that all of her sons adore her ever-lovingly is a true testament to the nurturing and caring woman that Dorothy has always been.
Dorothy spent years working at ACC in Independence, before enjoying retirement at the age of 67. In her free time, Dot loved seeing family and really cherished having everyone together for holidays or events. Many times, you could find her outside caring for her flowers or watching the birds. She touched so many people with her strength, her love, and her witty charm.

She is survived by two sons, Bruce (Beverly) Lamendola and Steve Lamendola, grandchildren Alex Lamendola, Mark Lamendola, Joey Lamendola, Annie Gonzales, Michael Lamendola, Nicholas Lamendola, and Katie Lamendola, and 19 great- grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
