Douglas Ogle

Douglas Wayne Ogle, 58 of rural Fredonia, Kansas passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 at his home.

At his request cremation has taken place under the direction of Loran Fawcett Chapel.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 2pm at the Farmington Cemetery located at 1800 and Harper Road north of Fredonia. The family has suggested memorials to the Farmington Cemetery memorials can be left with the cemetery or mailed to 18470 Harper Road, Fredonia, Kansas 66736.

Doug was born on November 13, 1954 in Chanute, Kansas to Kenneth Wayne and Nina Typer Olge. He graduated from Chanute High School in 1972. He worked as a Pulling Rig Operator for Bailey Oil for forty years. He married Sharon Eagle on October 18, 1997 in Neodesha, Kansas.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Kenny Drumm of Fredonia, Kansas one daughter, Brandi Ogle of Neodesha, Kansas one granddaughter, Brynlea Marie Parsons brothers, Randy and Kenny Ogle of Chanute, Kansas sisters, Debbie Stout of Chanute, Kansas, Chrystal Jones of Drexel, Missouri mother in laws, Velma Douglass and Carolyn Stephens.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Frank Ogle one sister, Diana Nelson.
