Eric Vail

Eric W. Vail, 57, of rural Neodesha passed away at his home, Thursday, November 13, 2014. Services will be held, Monday, November 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Christ Church in Neodesha. Burial will be at the Grandview Cemetery immediately following. Visitation will be Sunday from 67p.m. at Loran Fawcett Chapel.
Eric was born June 6, 1957 in Neodesha to William Bill and Diane Burgell Vail. He grew up in the Neodesha area and graduated from Neodesha High School in 1975.
Eric married Debra Goodrich on June 2, 1989 in Miami, OK. He worked as a lease operator for Dart Energy until his health failed. He loved to fish and to be outdoors.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his father Bill Vail of Neodesha, mother Diane McFann of Garfield, KS, two daughters, Ashley Vail of Wichita, KS and Casey King of Neodesha, KS, two sisters Karen Blede of Topeka, KS, Jacque Tierce of Larned, KS, and one granddaughter Alexis King of Fredonia, KS.
