Ernest Brian Wilson

Ernest Brian Wilson, 63, passed away on September 25, 2023 in Neodesha, Kansas of early onset Alzheimer’s Disease.

Having attended the University of Kansas, Brian was a widely toured music video cameraman and producer, gifted musician, outdoorsman/trekker, ultimate dog lover and whisperer, theater technician with a special place in his heart for the Neodesha Arts Association, and respected program director of news/talk radio for 36 years in markets including Kansas City, Nashville, Oklahoma City, Columbia MO, Salt Lake City, Springfield MA and Denver, CO. 

Brian spent his retirement in his home town of Neodesha, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest B. Wilson (former mayor of Neodesha), and Elizabeth Belle Shanahan Wilson. Surviving relatives include daughter Erin Wilson, brother Thomas R. Wilson and step-daughter Jennifer Jones Siroko. 

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Loran Fawcett Chapel and a memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 29th at 3:00 PM at the Neodesha Arts Center, 200 N. 5th St. Neodesha, KS., 66757.
