Eunice V. Taylor Eunice Velma Taylor of Neodesha, KS, died Friday, March 14, 2008, at her home. She was 79. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. The Reverend Ronnie Porter will officiate. Friends may call to register and view on Tuesday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday. The daughter of Ralph and Gladys Wilson Willits, she was born July 14, 1928, in Kendallville, IN. She attended school in Indiana where she graduated from high school. She was united in marriage to Robert Taylor on January 1, 1962, in Kendallville, IN. The couple moved to Neodesha following their marriage. He preceded her in death in 1970. Mrs. Taylor has been the owner and operator of the Altoona Auction for over 30 years. Prior to that, she worked for Glenn Utt Furniture for several years. She was a member of the Bethel Church of God. Survivors include a daughter, Marie Taylor of Neodesha; five brothers, Chester, LaVerne, Freeman, Sherwin and Perry Willits; four sisters, Doris Bolinger, Bernice Gannon, Hazel Carriker and Phyllis Stinecipher. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
