FLETA O. HENDRIX Fleta O. Hendrix, 75, of Neodesha, Kansas passed away Thursday morning, January 18, 2007 at her home in Neodesha, Kansas. Fleta was born March 01, 1931 in Nevada, Missouri to Ancil C. and Ruth Klump. She was raised and educated in Nevada, Missouri, graduating from Nevada High School. Fleta married Stan P. Hendrix on May 17, 1947 in Fort Scott, Kansas. They made their home in Wichita and moved to Neodesha in 1978. She was a homemaker and a member of the Countryside Christian Church. She was also a member of Royal Neighbors. Fleta is survived by her husband, Stan of the home in Neodesha; four sons, Phillip Hendrix, Dwaine Hendrix and Joel Hendrix all of Neodesha, Kansas and Jamie Hendrix of Parsons, Kansas; eight grandchildren, Kelli Grahm, Tara Hendrix, Kimberly Hendrix, Tammy Matlock, Jeremy Hendrix, Tiffance Hendrix, Kyle Hendrix and Dalton Hendrix; and six great grandchildren, Lucas Hendrix, Megan Hendrix, Mackenzy Grahm, Dearik Fullick, Phoenix Fullick, and Levi Matlock. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ancil Klump, Jr. and Denver Klump. Visitation hours for Fleta will be Saturday, January 20, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha. Funeral services for Fleta O. Hendrix will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 21, 2007 at the Countryside Christian Church with Pastor Brian Rothgeb officiating. Burial will take place on Monday, January 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Neodesha City Cemetery. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Donor39;s choice.
