Frederick Jernigan

FREDERICK E. JERNIGAN Frederick E. Jernigan, 60, formerly of Hawaii and Texas, passed away Monday, December 04, 2006 at the Wilson County Hospital, Neodesha, Kansas. He was a recent resident of the Golden Keys Nursing Home of Neodesha. Frederick was born January 03, 1946 in Danville, Virginia to Jerry E. and Mary V. Gilbert Jernigan. He served in the U.S. Army, serving in Viet Nam and Korea. Following his military service, he worked as a corrections officer in Texas at a corrections facility. Frederick is survived by one son, Thomas Lee Jernigan of Kapolei, Hawaii and one sister, Mary Lu Jernigan of Broomall, Pennsylvania. Cremation will take place under the direction of the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha, Kansas. Burial of his urn will take place at a later date.
