Glenda Jolene Willard age 68 of Neodesha, passed away Wednesday November 29th 2017 at Neodesha Health & Rehab in Neodesha, KS.
Services will be held on December 9th, 2017 at Bethel (Shelby) Cemetery, at 11 am.
Glenda J. Obermier was born July 17, 1949 in Great Bend, KS. She was the daughter of Glenn and Retha Ellen (Vandermark) Obermier. The family move to Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where she attended and graduated from College High, High School in 1967. in Bartlesville, OK. Glenda move to Neodesha, KS. in 1976, where she worked for the Eagles Club of Neodesha, KS, as a bartender. In 1983 Glenda was united in marriage to Bobby Earl Willard in Neodesha, KS. and together they made their home there until Glenda entered into the nursing home where she later passed.
Glenda loved to play cards and bingo, she loved to dance and she loved to work as a bartender at the Eagles Club where she was a member. She was also a past president of Ladies Eagles Auxiliary. Most of all she loved to spend time with her loving family and friends.
Glenda is survived by one son Montie and his wife Jennifer Obermier of Independence, KS. and 4 Step-Sons, John Willard and wife Kim, David Willard all of Neodesha, KS. Tim Willard of Missouri, and Mark Willard of Girard, KS. As wells at 3 Step-daughters Sheryl Johnson and husband Rick of Parsons, KS. Debbie Kukovich of Independence, KS. and Sandy Skinner of Denver, CO. She is also survived by her brother John Hambleton and his wife Gloria of Independence, KS. and her sister Roena Patterson of Dewey, OK.
Glenda is preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Retha Obermier, husband Bobby Willard, and 3 brothers: Denzil Hambleton, Benjamin Joe Obermier and Romain Smith, also proceeding her in death is her Step-Son Danny Willard.
