ILAH M. JOHNSON Ilah M. Johnson, 42, of Neodesha, Kansas died Thursday, August 04, 2005 in Amarillo, Texas due to injuries received from a motorcycle accident. Ilah was born on May 29, 1963 in Neodesha, Kansas to Harold E. and Betty A. Berger Johnson. She attended school in Neodesha where she graduated in 1982. Ilah married Larry Groth on December 26, 1981 in Neodesha, Kansas. They later
orced. She was employed at Colbalt Boats as an upholsterer for 17 years. She loved to ride motorcycles and she participated in traditional ceremonies with the Lakota Souix Tribe in South Dakota. Ilah is survived by her parents, Harold E. and Betty A. Johnson of Rural Neodesha, Kansas; two sons, Harold Groth and Randall Groth both of Neodesha, Kansas; one daughter, Elizabeth Groth of Neodesha, Kansas; two brothers, David Johnson of Augusta, Kansas and Ronald Johnson of Dekalb, Texas; and two sisters, Patricia Severs of Fredonia, Kansas and Debbie Johnson of Neodesha, Kansas; and her companion, Larry Guyot of Neodesha, Kansas. Visitation hours for Ilah will be Tuesday, August 09, 2005 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha. Funeral services for Ilah Johnson will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at Christ Church, Neodesha, Kansas with Pastor Dave Cheshier officiating. Burial will follow at the Neodesha City Cemetery. The family has suggested a memorial for her children. Memorials may be left with the funeral home.
