Jay Browning

Jay D. Browning age 56, of rural Neodesha, Kansas passed away at his home on Thursday July 10, 2014, surrounded by loved ones.

Jay was born on December 2, 1957 in Logan, West Virginia to Larry and Laura Jude Browning. He grew up in Neodesha, Kansas and attended school in Neodesha.

Jay was selfemployed as an Auto Mechanic and also helped his mother at the A1 car lot in Neodesha. He was a member of the Eagles Aries 3448 in Neodesha, 3 District Abate and 3 Rivers Gun Club.

Survivors include sons: Eldon Muffler of Mindenmines, MO, Jay D Browning of Maumee, OH and C.J. Browning, Joseph Carter. Daughters: Heather Lorentz of Fredonia, KS, Kristen Taylor of Haleyville, AL, Dawn Browning of Wayside, KS, Barbara Shoop of Independence, KS, and Freedom Browning. Brother: Ray Jude of Lawton, OK sister, Susan Mishler of Chanute, KS .

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 am to 8 pm, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 pm at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Neodesha City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Eagles Arie 3448 in Neodesha, contributions may be left with the funeral home.
