Jeanie M. Jacobs Jeanie Marie Jacobs of Kansas City, MO, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at the Kansas City Hospice House. She was 59. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Grandview Cemetery near Neodesha under the direction of PenwellGabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. Pastor DeWayne Prosser will officiate. Friends may call to register and view Friday from 15 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.noon. The daughter of John and Myrtle Spicer Norris Jacobs, she was born November 9, 1950, in Neodesha, KS. She graduated from Neodesha High School in 1968. Jeanie lived in Belle Glade, FL, from 1987 to January of this year when she moved to Kansas City. While in Florida, she worked for the State of Florida for 15 years. Survivors include three sisters, Jennie Burns of Abilene, KS, Mary Smith of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Joan Counsil of Kansas City, MO and one brother, Delbert Norris of Neodesha, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Doris Birdsong and Marjorie Evenson.
