Jennifer C. Landry, 45, Neodesha, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in Wichita, Kansas. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2016 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church with burial to follow in Neodesha City Cemetery in Neodesha, Kansas. Friends may sign the register on Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the chapel. Memorials may be made to St. Ignatius Catholic Church or Harry Hynes Hospice and may be left at the chapel.
Jennifer was born February 20, 1971 in Loreauville, Louisiana to Harold and Eve (Boudreaux) Melancon. Jennifer attended and graduated from Loreauville Schools and lived in the Louisiana area until relocating to Neodesha, Kansas in 2013 to be close to her son and grandchildren. Jennifer is a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and is employed at Fredonia Regional Medical Center. Jennifer loved spending time with her grandchildren, her job and volunteering with the hospital.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her Father, her God child Kerry Romero Jr. and her former husband Kennon Landry.
Survivors include her Mother Eve Melancon, Loreauville, La; one son, Dyllan Landry, Wichita, Ks; one brother, Roy (Alley) Melancon, Youngsville, La; two sisters, Patty (Kerry) Romero, Loreauville, La; Pam ( Albert ) Ramsey, Catahoula, La; and two grandsons Anthony and Max Landry, Neodesha, Ks;
