John Charles Frazier, 77, of Neodesha, passed away Tuesday, December 21, at his home. Funeral Services, under the direction of PenwellGabel Loran Fawcett Chapel, will be Friday, December 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene in Neodesha with Reverend Carl Soliday officiating. Burial will be at the Neodesha Cemetery in Neodesha, Kansas. Friends may stop by to register at the funeral home on Thursday, December 23, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. John Charles Frazier was born on May 26, 1933 in Branch, Arkansas to Roy and Molly Jane King Frazier. He graduated from County Line High School in County Line, Arkansas then joined the United States Army and served from 1953 to 1955. He was a master welder at MEC Company in Neodesha and retired on April 25, 1997 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Neodesha. John married Almedia Louise Green on April 12, 1957 in Booneville, Arkansas and she survives at the home. Additional survivors are three sons Steve Frazier amp wife Julie of Edmond, Oklahoma Eric Frazier of Centerton, Arkansas and Bryan Frazier amp wife Ann of Tyler, Texas one daughter Carolyn Rich amp husband Dwight of Quito, Equador one sister Iva Dean Williams of Saginaw, Texas and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death in addition to his parents, by one sister and one brother. The family has suggested memorials in lieu of flowers to the First Church of the Nazarene Flood Relief Fund or to Harry Hynes Hospice of Coffeyville, Kansas or of Donors choice and memorials can be left at the funeral home.
