KATHLEEN PINNER SMALL Kathleen Pinner Small age 95, of Neodesha, Kansas died Monday, November 18, 2002 at the Wilson County Hospital in Neodesha, Kansas. Kathleen was born May 20, 1907 in Covington, Tennessee to Sidney H. and Lula Ralph Pinner. Kathleen grew up in Covington, Tennessee and gradauted from High School in 1926 in Covington. After high school Kathleen went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone in July of 1926 and worked for them in Covington and Memphis, Tennessee until November 1, 1941. On November 11, 1941 Kathleen married Elmer Small in Neodesha, Kansas where they made their home. Elmer and Kathleen moved to Phoenix, Arizonia in 1968 and lived their until August of 1979 when they moved back to Neodesha, Kansas. Elmer preceded her in death on July 16, 2000. Survivors include one sister Louise Buckley of Covington, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer and one sister Sue Price. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2002 at the Neodesha United Methodist Church with the Rev. Scott Hannon officiaiting. Burial will follow in the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2002 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. The family has suggested memorials to the Neodesha United Methodist Church and may be left at The Loran Fawcett Funeral Home.
