Kenneth G. Riley Kenneth Grady Riley of Parsons, KS, formerly of Neodesha, KS, died Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He was 38 years of age. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Christ Church in Neodesha under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. The Reverend Dave Cheshier will officiate. Interment will be in Neodesha Cemetery. Friends may call to register at the funeral home on Friday from noon-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. The son of Mark Riley and Linda Rebecca Becky LaForte Sexton, he was born March 5, 1970, in Neodesha, KS. He received his education in Neodesha and Angleton, TX. Kenneth had worked for Prestige and Airosol in Neodesha, at A.O. Stuber Construction in Topeka and SSI Refinery in Freeport, TX. Prior to his death, he was a self-employed auto mechanic. He enjoyed stock cars and hot rods as well as four-wheeling. He had resided in Neodesha; Angleton, TX; West Columbia, TX; St. Paul, KS; and Parsons, KS. He is survived by his sister, Lara Riley of Parsons, KS; his father and step-mother, Mark and Linda Riley of West Columbia, TX; his step-father, David Sexton of Parsons, KS; four daughters, Maria Phillips of Lockhart, TX, Destiny Riley of Enid, OK, Chantel Riley of Elk City, KS, and Brooklyn Riley of Cedar Vale, KS; two step-daughters, Felicia Phillips of Enid, OK, and Sissy K. Ogden of Neodesha; his fianc, Billie Jo Ogden-Caswell of Parsons; two step-brothers, Kyle and Stephen Robnett, both of Columbus, KS; two step-sisters, Stephanie Nash of Columbus, KS, and Tammy Edwards of Natalia, TX; his paternal grandmother, Geraldine Riley of Neodesha; and his maternal grandmother, Dorothy LaForte of Neodesha, KS. He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda LaForte Sexton; a brother, Jason Riley; three grandfathers, Thomas LaForte, Emerson LaForte and Earl Riley; and one uncle, Scott LaForte. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Lodge, 1120 Pennsylvania Ave, Kansas City, MO, 64108, and may be left at the funeral home.
