Kirby Grogan

April 28, 1954 — August 23, 2017

Kirby L. Grogan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017 after battling pancreatic cancer. Viewing will be held at Loran Fawcett Funeral Home on Sunday, August 27th from 2pm to 8pm with visitation with the family from 6pm to 8pm.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 28th at 10am at the Neodesha Cemetery.

Born on April 28th, 1954 in Munich, Germany, Kirby was adopted as in infant by Kenneth and Lois "Ernestine" Grogan, while Kenneth was stationed there for the US Air Force. On June 16, 1973, Kirby married his high school sweetheart, Donnita Cook, and together they had 3 kids. Kirby worked at Cobalt Boats for 29 years. He loved the outdoors, specifically fishing and camping.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois "Ernestine" Grogan, father, Kenneth Grogan, nephew, Bryce Grogan, and niece, Jodi Grogan. Kirby is survived by his wife, Donnita; brother, Rodney (Marie) Grogan, Roy, UT; sons Michael and Jeremy (Brenda) Grogan of Neodesha; Chasity (David) Page of Wichita; grandchildren, Kaylee, Madison, and Cameron Grogan; Caitlin Posch; Shelby Waggoner; Camden Cunningham; Madison and Sophia Page; and great grandchildren, AJ and Kimber Waggoner.

Memorials can be left in Kirby's name to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and can be left at the funeral home.
