Leatrice Lee Ivy White of Neodesha was called home to the Lord on Saturday, February 2nd, 2013. Lee was born on May 23rd, 1929 in Neodesha, Kansas. She graduated from Neodesha High School in 1948.

Lee is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bob White Sr., and their four children: Cozetta Smith and her husband Charlie of Sycamore, Bobby White of Neodesha, LaDeen Allen and her husband Rod of rural Maple Hill, and Lori White of Neodesha.

Lee and Bob have nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Grandchildren include: Dan Smith, his wife Beth and their four children Michelle Schroeder, her husband Darin and their three children Travis White, his wife Tawny and their daughter Tracy Marroquin, her husband Alex and their four children Andy White Dayton Allen Tanner Allen Nathan Soltice and his daughter Eric Pouncil and his two children.

Lee is also survived by her sisters Phyllis Billie Marie Osburn and Patricia Greer and many nieces and nephews.

Lee was preceded in death by her parents Wiley and Jewell Ivy and her sister Twyla Rosson and brother Floyd Ivy.

Lee spent her life in Neodesha. She worked in the home raising her four children and then outside of the home at Electra, Stevie Toggs and Jiffy Mart. Lee loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great children called her Nana and were the joy of her life. She would always send them home with a goody bag and all of her love. She enjoyed evening rides in the country looking for deer and weenie roasts with all the family. Lee also loved feeding the squirrels, raccoons and birds off the front porch.

Visitation will be from 6:00 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6th, at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home in Neodesha.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7th at the Neodesha Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made to the Neodesha Senior Citizens Center.
