LUETA KELLERBY Lueta Kellerby, 78, of Neodesha, Kansas passed away Thursday, August 11, 2005 at the Wilson County Hospital, Neodesha, Kansas. Lueta was born March 09, 1927 in Stroud, Oklahoma to Lewis F. and Opal M. Miller Anderson. She was raised in Chandler, Oklahoma where she graduated from Chandler High School in 1945. She later attended Edmond State Teachers College at Edmond, Oklahoma. Lueta married Mildred F. Kellerby on May 04, 1947 in Stroud, Oklahoma. They lived in Shawnee, Tulsa, Bartlesville, and Stroud Oklahoma. They later moved to Shambaugh, Iowa and Yates Center, Kansas. In 1966, they moved to Neodesha, Kansas where he was pastor of the Bethel Church of God. Mr. Kellerby preceded her in death on June 29, 2003. Lueta was a homemaker and a pastors wife. She was a member of the Bethel Church of God. She also was a member of the Heritage Genealogical Society, loved reading and working puzzles. She is survived by three children, Mary Jane Gibson of Washington, Iowa, Phillip Ray Kellerby of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Ruth Lynn Williams of Independence, Kansas; two sisters, Janie Sue Anderson and Doris Ann Farrell; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Lueta was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, Robert Lewis Kellerby. Visitation hours for Lueta will be Monday, August 15, 2005 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha. Funeral services for Lueta R. Kellerby will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at the Maple Grove-Bethel Church of God, Neodesha, Kansas. Burial will follow at the Shelly-Bethel Cemetery. The family has suggested memorial contributions to Maple Grove-Bethel Church of God. Memorials may be left with the funeral home.
