Lyle Arnold

Lyle F. Arnold, 66 of Neodesha passed away at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023.

Lyle was born in Neodesha to Murl and Yolanda (Payne) Arnold on November 15, 1956. Lyle grew up in Neodesha and attended the Neodesha school system. While in school Lyle was an outstanding athlete  in track and football. On June 21, 1984, Lyle married Cindy Shinkle at the Nazarene Church in Neodesha. The two made their home in Neodesha and started their family. With this union Lyle and Cindy welcomed 6 children, L.J., Jason, Heather, Dereck, Justin, and Brian. Lyle worked as a carpenter and form builder at Contractors Engineer for 28 years. In Lyle’s free time, he loved to tinker with cars, mow, hunt, fish and build crafts in his wood shop.

Lyle is preceded in death by his son, Lyle “L.J.” Arnold Jr., and parents, Murl and Yolanda Arnold.

He is survived by his wife Cindy, sons, Jason, Dereck, and Justin Arnold and Brian Hart, daughter, Heather Arnold, brothers, Daryll, Lynn, Jim and Matt Arnold, sisters, Alaura Martin and Mara Monroy, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will greet friends at Loran Fawcett Chapel on Monday, April 17th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Christ Church in Neodesha on Tuesday, April 18th at 10:00 am with burial immediately following at Neodesha Cemetery.
