Margaret Dart

Margaret L. Dart Margaret L. Dart of Wichita, KS and a former resident of Neodesha, KS, and Independence, KS, died Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at the Reflection Living Care Center in Wichita. She was 91. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Wichita. A private family committal will be conducted at a later date in the Neodesha Cemetery. The daughter of William and Magdaline Heinz Boyer, she was born November 11, 1917, in Grandin, MO. She moved to Neodesha with her family as a child. On September 20, 1945, she was united in marriage to Robert J. Dart in Wichita, KS. He preceded her in death on October 1, 1990. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church in Neodesha. She served as a Cub Scout, a Brownie Scout and a Girl Scout leader. She was a Sunday school teacher at the Methodist Church in Neodesha as well as serving the community in Red Cross and at the Senior Citizens Center. She had been a resident of Neodesha until moving to Independence, KS, 12 years ago. She had lived in Wichita the past six months. Survivors include one son, Robert J. Dart Jr. of Wichita, KS; one daughter, Paula A. Beeman of Independence, KS; two brothers, Walter Boyer of Dallas, TX, and James Boyer of Wichita, KS; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clarence and Denver Boyer; and one sister, Bertha Booker.
