Marjorie Orr

Marjorie Nell Orr passed away peacefully on May 19, 2018 at Evergreen Living Innovations, Olathe, Kansas. She was 94.
Her memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, June 23 at the Neodesha United Methodist Church under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Marjorie was born on January 31, 1924 to Russell and Ollie Logan in Montgomery County, Kansas. She grew up in and around Neodesha before graduating from Neodesha High School in 1942. After raising a family, she attended Independence Community College and graduated in 1978 with an Associate of Arts Degree.
First and foremost Marjorie's passions were her family, friends and K-State sports. She organized family activities such as picnics, croquet tournaments, travel to museums and annual Neewollah celebrations. She was an awesome mother and grandmother.
Marjorie married Richard Lohr in 1943. He died in 1948. In 1950 she married Murry Orr who later died in 1997. She also rests with her parents and her two brothers, Wayne and Bill Logan.
Marjorie's memories will live on with her children: Nancy Riley and her husband John, Carol Orr, Susan Gwaltney and her husband Charlie, Sally Knittle and her husband Mike, and Eric Orr and his wife Laura. She has 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
The family suggests donations to Neodesha United Methodist Church or Evergreen Hospice in Olathe, Kansas. Memorials may be left with Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha. Online condolences may be sent to www.loranfawcettfuneralhome.com
