Michelle Marie Hurst

Michelle (Miki) Marie DuBois Hurst, 69, was born July 15, 1955, to Margie E. and Edward C. DuBois in Frankfurt, Germany. She moved to Neodesha, KS, as a young girl. She married Dick W. Hurst on July 25, 1976. They had one son, Richard W. Hurst, in 1977.

Miki worked at many places and was a homemaker in her life. She earned a diploma in drafting from Coffeyville Community College and then worked as a drafter at Power Flame. She enjoyed bowling and traveling with her mother.

 Miki's life was well-lived, though sometimes challenging—a strong personality who left a lasting impression. Miki will be remembered for her unique character. Now, she is at peace after a life of diverse experiences.

 Miki was preceded in death by her husband, Dick, and her parents, Margie and Bob Porter and Edward DuBois. Those left to cherish her memory include her one son, Richard, and wife, Natasha of Canon City, CO. Three grandchildren, Sean Hurst, Preston Hurst, and Krystina Hurst. Three sisters, Debi and husband Leon Reedy, Neodesha, KS; Carolyn Bowman, Neodesha, KS; Lucy and wife Maggie Wooten, Canton, IL.

 Cremation has taken place, and no services are planned.
