Mildred Irene Elliott Mildred, affectionately known as GG, was born and lived in Neodesha, Kansas for 86 years. In failing health she moved to Texas in 2007 to be near her grandchildren. She went to eternal rest at Windsong Village in Texas surrounded by her loving family. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and husband Charles William Elliott, also known as Wild Bill. She was a homemaker and assisted her husband in his contracting business. She also was a member of the local Fraternity of Eagles and the Royal Neighbors for many years. Her sweet smile and demeanor, as well as her delightful wit will be remembered by all. Mildred is survived by two daughters Sherlyn Gidney, of Texas, and Connie Plake, of Independence, KS. She is also survived by her only granddaughter Kimberly Mayberry of Texas, and four grandsons Todd, Toby, Tony Gidney, and Troy Legg, all in Texas. Mildred was also blessed with eight greatgrandchildren. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at the Neodesha Eagles Club for family and friends on July 9th from 6pm 10pm, all are invited. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 10th 10am at Neodesha Cemetery.
