MYRTLE L. COLE Myrtle L. Cole, 92, formerly of Neodesha, Kansas passed away Thursday, December 22, 2005 at the Prairie Homestead Health Care Center in Wichita, Kansas. Myrtle was born May 03, 1913 in Neodesha, Kansas to Jasper H. and Ida G. Williamson Gardner. She was raised and educated in Neodesha. On February 16, 1937, Myrtle married Ernest M. Cole in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. They lived in Wichita where Ernest worked for Cessna Aircraft until his retirement in 1974. They moved to Altoona and in 1991, they moved to Neodesha. Mr. Cole preceded her in death on March 30, 1994. The last several years, she has lived in Wichita. Myrtle was a homemaker. During World War II, she worked for Boeing. Myrtle is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and a half sister. Visitation hours for Myrtle will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2005 and Wednesday, from 8 a.m. to service time at the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha. Funeral services for Myrtle L. Cole will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodehsa with the Reverend Dave Cheshier officiating.
