Phyllis E. Jeffcott Phyllis Edwina Jeffcott of Carrollton, TX, formerly of Neodesha, KS, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Parkland Hospital, Dallas, TX. She was 69. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2008, at Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel Home on Saturday, November 8, 2008. Reverend Kris Brinlee will officiate. Interment will be in Neodesha Cemetery. Friends may call to register Saturday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The daughter of Edwin L. and Eula E. Anderson Jordan, she was born February 17, 1939, in Neodesha, Kansas. She graduated from Neodesha High School with the class of 1957. Mrs. Jeffcott was employed for several years in Dallas area nursing homes as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was married to Kenneth Jeffcott in 1959 and they made their home in Carrollton, TX, until their
orce. A devout Lutheran, she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved spending time with her family and two basset hounds. Survivors include one son Jordan, of Carrollton, TX; one daughter Jennifer Clark and her husband Steve of Lewisville, TX; two sisters, Joann Linder of Overland Park, KS, and Marilyn Finley and her husband Don of Overland Park, KS; 11 grandchildren, Jamie and Brett Jeffcott and Ryan, Krystin, Katie, Joshua, Jason, Kylie, Justin, Shaun and Trevor Clark; one great-grandchild, Ryleigh Fielding; nieces Maressa Finley-Sinclair and Erica Finley; and great-nephew Parker Sinclair. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Shirley. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
