Robert Dixon

Robert "Bob" K. Dixon, age 55, of Neodesha, Kansas died Sunday February 1, 2015 at the Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas.

Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Christ Church with the Pastor Dave Cheshier officiating under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Chapel.

Visitation hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas.

The family has suggested memorials to the AWOL in Independence, Kansas and contributions may be left at the Loran Fawcett Chapel.

Bob was born November 7, 1959 in Neodesha, Kansas to Jack & Florence (Stivenson) Dixon. He grew up in Neodesha, Kansas and graduated from the Neodesha High School in 1978. Bob also attended Body & Paint Vo-Tec College in Wichita, Kansas and graduated in 1980. He loved to be with his family, hunting & fishing and was a member of the 3rd District Abate.

Survivors include his daughters Lacey & husband Jason Ratzlaff of Fredonia, Kansas, Audra Dixon, Kristin Dixon, Courtney Dixon all of Neodesha, Kansas, Ashton Dotterer of Sycamore, Kansas, Christy Clark of Norfork, Virginia and Noel Shinkle of Neodesha, Kansas; one brother Jack Dixon of Neodesha, Kansas; sisters Vicki Threlkeld of Neodesha, Kansas and Ann Wilson of Osborn, Kansas; 15 grandchildren.
