ROBERT ESON JOHNSON Robert E. Johnson age, 89, of Neosho, Missouri, formerly of Neodesha, Kansas died Monday, February 9, 2004 at the Medicalodge in Neosho, Missouri. Robert was born March 25, 1914 in Neodesha, Kansas to Leroy and Alice Bryan Johnson Robert grew up in Neodesha, Kansas and attended the Neodesha School System. On June 10, 1934 Robert married Rachel Vena Williams in Neodesha, Kansas and she preceded him in death January 2, 2000 they made their home in Neodesha for 30 years, they also lived in Palmdale, CA, Neosho, Missouri, Joplin, Missouri, and Webb City, Missouri. Robert own and operated his own Car Lots in Neodesha and Cherryvale, Kansas many years. Robert served in the United States Navy as a See Bee, he was honorable discharged. Survivors include three children Robert Eugene Johnson of Neosho, Missouri; Doloris McBride of Carterville, Missouri; and Reeva Jean Hartell of Branson, Missouri; one sister Geneive Toone of Texas; 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his one son David Lee, father, mother, two sisters and two brothers and two grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, Febraury 14, 2004 at the Ross Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Robinson officiating under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 20004 and Friday, February 13, 2004 and from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 14, 2004 at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home.
