Robert Kammerer

Robert Joseph Kammerer of Neodesha, KS passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 after a brief illness. Robert was born on November 25, 1947 in Topeka, KS. He was adopted by Lewis "Red" Kammerer and Alice Kammerer (Katzer). He attended Neodesha high school, graduating in 1965. Robert attended Kansas State University where he played football. He graduated from KSU with a double major in Engineering. After graduation, he worked for Honeywell and Dayna Corporations.

Robert is proceeded in death by his parents Red and Alice Kammerer and his brother Stephen Kammerer. He is survived by his companion Cheryle Agosto, daughter Kacy Kammerer of Pittsburg, KS, nephew Scott Kammerer, aunt and godmother Irene Reese of Neodesha, aunt Rosemary Kammerer of Springfield, MO, two step-sons Joey and Michael Lamendola, eleven grandchildren and various cousins.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will take place Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2pm at the Catholic Hall in Neodesha, KS. Memorial contributions may be made in Robert's name to the Neodesha High Alumni Association.
