ROBERT GAIL LUTKE Robert Gail Lutke, 64, a long time Neodesha, Kansas resident was born June 13, 1937 to Herman Martin and Nina Lee Davis Lutke in rural Washington County near Wann, Oklahoma, the third of six children and the third son. He passed away at the Wilson County Hospital on Monday, May 20, 2002 with his loved ones nearby. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2002 at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home with the Rev. Delbert Callaway officiating. Burial will follow in the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Suzanne Perkins, Robin Strickland, Awna Stark, Stacy Arnold, Mike Arnold and Jim Arnold. Visitation hours will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2002 and from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2002 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Gail attended Pleasant View Grade School graduating as valedictorian of his eighth grade class. He continued his education at Copan High School graduating in 1955. Gail and Ann Hase were married on November 11, 1972 in Neodesha where they established their home. Prior to his retirement, Galil worked for Pepsi Cola Company and Hoyt Oil Company both in Dewey, Oklahoma, and Cobalt Boats in Neodesha. He purchased Gails Tire and Lube in 1991 and operated it until his retirement in 2001. Gail came to know Jesus Christ personally at his home in Neodesha and knew the peace of Jesus in his life. Survivors include his wife Ann of the home, four sons, Gary of Del Ray Beach, Florida; Rick and wife Diane of Norwalk, Ohio; Curtis and wife Ginger of Fort Worth, Texas; and Danny and wife Christy of Denver, North Carolina; two daughters Diana of Del Ray Beach, Florida; and Debbie Rhodes and husband Rocky of Neodesha, Kansas; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; two brothers Max and wife Louise of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Marty and wife Cecilia of Hazelwood, Missouri; two sisters Lois and husband Ron Lewis of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Carol and husband John Deaton of Wann, Oklahoma, his mother-in-law Marie Hase, several nieces and nephews and cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by a son Glenn, a brother Rex, his parents and his father in law George Hase. The family has suggested memorials to Horizons Hospice and contributions may be left at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home.
