Rod A. Adams Rod Allen Adams of rural Fredonia, KS, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at his home. He was 50. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, KS. A memorial service will he held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 9, 2009, at the Assembly of God Church in Fredonia. The son of Charles W. Adams and Beulah M. Deen Dutcher, he was born February 13, 1959, in Arkansas City, KS. He graduated from Kellyville High School in Kellyville, OK, in 1977. On August 25, 1978, he was united in marriage to Neva Gayle Belveal in Sapulpa, OK. She survives at the home. In 2005, he and his wife moved to the Fredonia area where he was a heavy equipment operator before retiring. Mr. Adams was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Fredonia. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Theresa M. Adams of Okeechobee, FL, and Sandra D. Adams of Fredonia, KS; his mother, Beulah M. Dutcher of Neodesha, KS; one brother, Charles Adams of Sapulpa, OK; one sister, Zoe Bauer of Nowata, OK; and five grandchildren, Jennifer D. Adams, Brandon K. Adams, Bryan Adams, Lyllia K. Adams and Cayden Jones. He is preceded in death by his father and one daughter, Mindy Kay Adams. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Assembly of God Church in Fredonia and may be left at the funeral home.
